{"id":935,"date":"2020-02-22T12:22:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-22T11:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.enda.fr\/?page_id=935"},"modified":"2020-03-11T07:11:17","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T06:11:17","slug":"arsene-caens","status":"publish","type":"intervenant","link":"https:\/\/www.enda.fr\/en\/intervenant\/arsene-caens\/","title":{"rendered":"Ars\u00e8ne Caens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ars\u00e8ne Caens develops, since 2008, in\nParis, a practice of research-creation involving a continuous\ninvestigative work on the forms of activity and aesthetic existence.\nTrained in traditional art history at the school of the Louvre, it\nmarks his interest in art without author forms, multiple and\nreproducible of Western modernity by specializing in the arts of the\nprinted image (print). Anxious to develop work spaces structured\naround new forms of objects, knowledge and practices in arts, he\nbecame a founding member of Cadrans.org, site of contemporary\ncreation, then invited Member of the collective of arts and sciences\nOscar Rom\u00e9o. In this perspective, he also regularly works in\nrelationship with China, as well with contemporary or traditional\nartists of the world of business in the cultural sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently and since 2016, Ars\u00e8ne Caens\nperforms a thesis work at the school of advanced studies in Social\nSciences (Ehess, Paris). The investigation he leads is a comparative\nethnography of various qualified practices as artistic or\npara-artistiques, and is an analysis of the streamlining procedures\nas of certain types of artifacts, activities and situations. Very\ndifferent between them, situations he approaches &#8211; including\ncontemporary music, literary arts out of the book, the design of art\nexhibition in extra-occidental context and post-conceptuelles\nartistic practices &#8211; have in common to make the artistic problem\nsituations under the institutional periphery of the worlds of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Enda Ars\u00e8ne Caens enrolled in a\ndouble search. (1) as a researcher, he gives vent to his work as an\nethnographer, documenting, to bring them to the attention of an\naudience of social scientist, sessions of work of one of the very few\nschools implementing a complete reformulation of creative art\npractices. (2) as a practitioner, it applies to situation elements of\nthis research, while updating reflectively the condition of\ndeveloping inquiry status defined as fundamental artistic practice.\nBuilding on the tools of art (theoretical and practical), philosophy\nand the social sciences, it is then set as art a certain project of\nknowledge, and experimentally stake project of a collective practice\nof elucidation of the social experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ars\u00e8ne Caens develops, since 2008, in Paris, a practice of research-creation involving a continuous investigative work on the forms of activity and aesthetic existence.
