<\/strong>An experience that proposes to lock its participants in an art school in Brussels for three days. The aim is to test the physical and mental survival capacities of the participants, artists or\/and more generally actors of the art world. The experience will validate or invalidate the necessity of survival in, at, with, without, \u2026 one’s practice. The project has was elaborated by Baptiste Pays, in charge of the ENDA programs, Lola Martins- Coignus, Jean Casanova Castell, and students at the Acad\u00e9mie Royale des Beaux-arts in Brussels, in collaboration with the practitioners of l\u2019\u00c9cole nationale d\u2019art (ENDA), as well as external participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\nR.E.P.A.S. – Meeting of Post-Apocalyptic Studies on Art and its System<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>R.E.P.A.S. took place under the roof of the Monnaie de Paris. A group was gathered, secretly, in one of the oldest institutions in the world, for one night. During the organized meal, participants were concerned with the future of the Institution after the apocalypse. Before the end of the meal they were asked to provide a detailed plan of action to be followed in the event of an apocalypse. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAlternative Art School Fair (AASF)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
In partnership with Pioneer Works, the Paris Bienniale created the first (and indeed the only) fair of alternative art schools. More than 40 schools from 17 countries (US, UK, Italy, Norway, Jordan, Egypt, Benin, France, Germany…) participated. Criteria for participation: to call itself a “school”, to see art or creative and educational practices on the program, to propose something unique in terms of methodology, organization, mission, program or aims, to propose something that could have an impact or transform arts education (even if the participant does not consider itself a school or art school), to be a space that generates alternatives to current systems and cultural models.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
