Ludovic De Vita is an artist who develops artistic projects as an independent curator, artist and researcher. He participates in various international exhibitions as well as festivals, biennials and contemporary art fairs. Most notably, he curates intercultural events in partnership with French institutions by producing travelling demonstrations travelling between France and China. He also supports emerging Chinese artists on the international contemporary art scene, which he brought together with an art gallery based in Beijing. As a lecturer and researcher, he founded the Institute for Research in Anthropology of Singularity (IRISA) in Paris, with which he proposes to re-examine art practices and processes of singularization through creativity and innovation. IRISA’s mission is to provide a broad understanding of singularity phenomena, enabling associate researchers, regardless of their field of research or discipline, to confront and reformulate their practice. He is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Lyon. He is the director of the IRISA (Institute of Research in Anthropology of Singularity) and director of tesearch and development at the National School of Art (ENDA).
