Gary Bigot is an artist who gave up producing art in 1986. Since then he has been developing his approach around the thermo-hygrometer. This device records temperature and humidity and is more or less visible in museums and various places. Today this device is electronic and has become very miniaturized. It has become almost invisible by being embedded in the walls of the place itself. Functioning as a metaphor, the thermo-hygrometer allows Gary Bigot to consider that everything is made, produced and installed without any intervention on his part. The openness created by this extreme attitude reveals itself to be unsuspected and encourages reflection and creation.
